Buddha of Love!

Beauty in the centre!

I played a bit with stencils and stamps to create this page for the theme "make a mark" at:

I made it quick to relax a bit in the evening. Being creative is the best way to relax for me, it's like meditation.

Modern Portrait!

I created this colorfully portrait of my dear girlfriend Vroni for her Birthday. She has such a kind of wonderful bright blue eyes which impresses me again and again. I think I will do more of such colorful portraits the next time. I had much fun making it.

Two stencils

I started with a light green background then added an orange stencil motif and one dark green stencil motif. I stamped some round stamps and added some doodling around them to create a kind of flowers. Some cut  out butterflies made the finish.

From wild to calm!

It began with a page of different colors, effects and textures. After drying I drew leaves and circles on it with a black Marker. Then I filled the background with dark blue color.

Acrylic Pouring!

I made some new experiments with the acrylic pouring technique. I have choosen white, turquoise, blue and orange color for this mix. It is always surprising what kind of result it gives.

Little Art House!

Now I show you what I did with a tiny wooden house I bought for 1 €.
I decorated 3 sides of it with stencils and acrylic paste. Then I coloured it with acrylic colors and added some golden butterflies and two wooden flower. The front is decorated with a nice ornament I found in a Magazine.
Ready is my spring Art House or House of Love.

Longing for Venice!

Springtime is a time the journey fever begins. My great wish is it to visit Venice in spring. As a young girl I visited Venice a day long and fell in love with it. So I made this canvas with Venice in my head. I made it with embossed and stenciled elements.

Blütenexplosion or flower explosion

In this month I am happy to be guest designer at the " Try it on Tuesday Blog " . Our theme is
"inspired by a word". My word is the German word "Blütenexplosion" which means "flower explosion" in English. It came to me because outside in our garden the first spring flowers are blooming and all plants are beginning to grow. In spring it feels like an explosion of flowers and Green. I love this time of year because Mother Nature changes her brown and grey dress to a colorful dress with much of green color too. Hope I can inspire you with my card and I look forward to see
what you will do for this theme. My card is made with watercolor, color pens, a stencil and stamps.

Many Splashes!

I wanted to use my new Acrylic Spray Paint I bought in different colors, so I used them to create  this card. First I sprayed the card  with pink,yellow and orange color then the embossed heart with light green, light and dark blue color. I added some cut outs for the decoration and some rhinestones too
Then I added some flowers with pink glitter embossing powder.

Mother's Birthday

Today I made a Birthday card for my Mother's 90th Birthday at Sunday. For the heart I used an embossing folder and added some floral and ornamental cut outs. To give it a bling effect I added some rhinestones.

Happy Valentine!

It began with a piece of  cardstock with a bubbles structure I found in a chocolate box. I coloured it with pink watercolor and a purple Gelato pen. I have a new embossing template heart. I embossed a thin cardstock and sprayed it with blue,light green and turquoise Acrylic color. I added some punched motifs and a butterfly I had cut out of a Journal.

Yellow!

For the challenge at https://art-journal-journey.blogspot.com/2019/02/the-colour-yellow.html with the theme "Yellow" I made this Journal page. The german words say: " Have reliance".
The background is made with water colors, stanp color and colored pencils. I added some Collage motifs which I cutted out from an old Journal.

Winter Walk!

Yesterday I made a walk through the snowy landscape with a girlfriend. The fresh snow, sunshine and a wonderful blue sky provided amazing scenes. Now I show you my photos from this nice day.

Fairy Whisper!

First I created a background with different stamp pads. Than I gave some green watercolors in the center and covered it with crinkled cling film and let it dry. That gave a nice texture. But what to do next? Yesterday night I had an inspiration for the design of a new Journal page. I used my new leaf stencils and my fairy stamps. In my stuff I found the perfect frame for it.

Green Card!

I wanted to create a Birthday card for a dear friend and thought green is the right color for a men card. I created the background with watercolors in different green colors and cling film. The stamp motifs are stamped with a dark green color from Memento. The girl stamp is from Deep Red.

Game with Coins and Cents!

I made some Coins and Cents from a Gelli Plate background and glued them on a light grey cardstock. Than I added my text with Paint program. I put it in an old frame.

Collage Coins

I tried my first Coins. I wanted to threw away some old magazines and so I cutted out of it some interesting motifs for collage making. I combined the collage motifs with some new stamps and stencils. Not easy to create something on that minimal surface.

Background for what?

First I made a background with different watercolor on special thick watercolor paper, than added a few stencil motifs. But what to do with it? I cut it in two pieces and made this two cards.
