Lihat semuaIntonation, in phonetics, the melodic pattern of an utterance. Intonation is primarily a matter of variation in the pitch level of the voice (see also tone), but in such languages as English, stress and rhythm are also involved. Intonation conveys differences of expressive meaning (e.g., surprise, anger, wariness).

Sentence Stress

Sentence stress is the pattern of stressed and unstressed words across a sentence. Normally this emphasis is on words that carry important information, although this can change significantly, depending on the specific meaning the speaker wants to communicate.

Guide to assist you in teaching practice experiences

•to build relationships with young children (by enabling children to do what they enjoy doing in ways that promote respect for diversity, equity and fairness); •to extend your understanding of curriculum (by thinking about how children learn, what they need to know and how you will assess what they know); •to provide supportive learning–teaching environments (by recognizing the physical, social and emotional factors that contribute to learning and by becoming familiar with effective behaviour guidance strategies); •to collaborate with other important adults in a child’s life (by refining communication skills and establishing working relationships); •to nurture your professional growth through research and inquiry (by thinking about what you do, how you do it, and why).
