Australian Prime Minister’s Mosque Visit Goes Awry

Australia’s prime minister went to a mosque to pay obeisance to Islam like a good dhimmi. It went as you might expect:

Via Breitbart:

[Prime Minister Anthony ] Albanese and [Home Affairs Minister Tony] Burke visited the Lakemba mosque in western Sydney as it held a ceremony to mark the end of Ramadan. …

The pair were sitting while a speech was being delivered when a group began booing and shouting at the prime minister amid increasingly chaotic scenes.

Along with the shouts of “Allahu Akbar” that traditionally accompany antisocial behavior by Muslims, someone yelled “putrid dog,” presumably referring to Albanese.

Evidently they hate his guts because Albanese tries to take both sides instead of just the Muslim side in the terror war against Israel and because he designated the Islamist organization Hizb ut-Tahrir as a hate group in the aftermath of the Muslim mass shooting at Bondi Beach in Sydney last December.

Albanese says despite reports to the contrary, he did not actually have to be rushed out through a back door before the mob tore him limb from limb. So you see? Everything is still under control.

Chicago Teachers Unions Want Kids to Take May Day Off to Rally Against President

Any institution that has been infiltrated, subverted, and commandeered by moonbats is no longer about what it used to be about. It is about moonbattery. For example, K-12 education is no longer about education; it is about indoctrinating children and recruiting them into leftism.

Nowhere is this more obvious than in Chicago, where as Townhall reports, “Roughly 30 percent of [Chicago Public Schools] students can read on grade level; only 20 percent can do math.”

Daily Caller reports on what the unions calling the shots want kids to do instead of learn:

[Chicago Teachers Union], along with other unions, is planning a one-day strike on May 1 to protest what they call President Donald Trump’s “rising authoritarianism.” The union is calling on supporters to demand Chicago Public Schools give students the day off and “make May 1st an official day of civic action.”

May 1 aka International Workers’ Day has been regarded as a major holiday under Marxist regimes; it featured large-scale parades in the USSR. “Authoritarianism” is Liberalese for pushback against left-wing authoritarianism. Trump is not the one who wants an ever more intrusive government to enslave us through ever higher taxes and ever more suffocating regulations. That would be Democrats — speaking of whom:

Socialist Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson, who has accepted millions in campaign contributions from the union, has signaled support for the union’s plan, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.

No good comes of the unholy alliance between the Democratic Party and public sector unions.

Chuck Norris was a great cultural icon. The liberal entertainment media proves it by denouncing him for personifying American strength. Via Variety:

Was Norris a brilliant athlete and top-shelf star? Yes. But there’s no denying that his roles were part of a body of work used to show American strength, might and the pernicious attraction of taking the law into one’s own hands — something that seems less fun in a year in which our country is funneling money into bombing Iran and ICE agents are acting like one-man militias. Given our nation’s divisions in morality, information literacy and overall sense of reality, it’s easier to see Norris’ characters as justification for a fringe conspiracy movement rather than a moral standing. When patriotism and laws shift away from the Constitution, what side does a gunslinger land on?

While Hollywood takes endless shots for being too liberal or left-leaning, it’s a short-sighted criticism considering the industry’s decades of glorifying American military strength. Ultimately, genre fans can appreciate Norris as a larger-than-life marquee figure. But it’s a unique twist on separating the art from the artist: When a star is the poster boy for American exceptionalism and might, at what point does his legacy transition from escapism to dangerous propaganda?

Democrats bark that we must not defend our borders from foreign invasion because despite making heavier use of welfare than American citizens, illegal aliens benefit the economy. Sure enough, some of them do generate wealth. Fox News presents an example:

Five Mexican nationals were indicted on federal drug trafficking and weapons charges this week after authorities discovered a clandestine methamphetamine lab in Northern California, leading to the seizure of nearly 3,000 pounds of the drug, officials said.

A ton and a half of meth is big business. At least these illegals weren’t collecting welfare. Then again, maybe they were.

The Department of Justice said a federal grand jury returned a 10-count indictment Thursday against Luis Reyna Carrillo, 33, Mariana Vanessa Mendoza Camacho, 33, Juan Jesus Manriquez Diaz, 31, Alvaro Rosales, 44, and Manuel Juan Madrid Perez, 38, charging them with conspiracy to manufacture and distribute methamphetamine and multiple drug trafficking and gun offenses.

All of them were in the country illegally, taking advantage of California’s sanctuary state policies and Democrat hostility to the enforcement of immigration law.

Criminal Illegal Alien Allowed to Stay Because His Son Dislikes Foreign Chicken Nuggets

Moonbats in positions of authority will seize on any pretext to allow illegal aliens to remain so as to displace the native population — and I do mean any pretext.

The Daily Mail reports:

A migrant who fought deportation by arguing his son disliked foreign chicken nuggets has won the right to stay in Britain. …

Klevis Disha … entered Britain illegally under a false name and lied in a failed asylum claim…

His barrister Richard McKee successfully argued it would be ‘unduly harsh’ for his son, 11, to have to join his father in Albania, or be left in Britain without him.

In addition to being an illegal alien,

In September 2017, Disha was given a two-year jail sentence after being caught with £250,000 in cash, determined to be the proceeds of crime when he could not account for its origins.

That alone should have been enough to deport him. However, a judge blocked his deportation “on human rights grounds” when it was determined that his son “will not eat the type of chicken nuggets available abroad.”

The message to migrants from largely Muslim countries like Albania: make sure to have kids. As if they need to be told.

City of Los Angeles Characterizes Christianity as Mental Illness

In the Soviet Union, Christianity was all but criminalized. The vast majority of churches were shut down; priests and nuns were sent off to die in gulags. Also in the USSR, dissidents were sometimes incarcerated in mental asylums. This brings us to Los Angeles under communist rule.

WND reports on a city employee…

…who as a Christian objected to the LGBT promotions in his department during June, and asked for permission to work remotely during that time period so as to avoid giving the appearance that he endorsed that agenda.

The fight is being handled by Liberty Counsel, which already has filed a legal action against the city.

“Instead of working remotely, officials suggested he simply use the ‘back door’ or seek ‘mental health counseling’ if the ‘Pride’ flag caused him distress,” the legal team explained.

That is, holding the Christian view — according to which sin and depravity are sinful and depraved — makes him crazy.

The legal team pointed out that being allowed to work remotely is exactly the accommodation the city already allows for Muslims when they object to something in their workplace offending their beliefs.

But there is a big difference. Leftists support Islam, because their ideology shares the goal of destroying Western Civilization in general and especially Christianity.
