Hail hath no fury………………

Well, what a contrast in weather.
I wrote yesterday about the hail we had in the afternoon on two occasions whilst my car was being repaired and the confused ducks that landed on our front lawn.

Give us a scratch……………..

The guy came today to sort out the offside passenger door after it and the vet’s wall came to blows.
There wasn’t that much damage,  but it was unsightly and one of the group from keep fit told me about this chap who had worked wonders on his car bonnet (hood to my American friends) after a garage had quoted him £3000 for the job! He paid him £168 and said you’d never know.

I had a text message as promised to say he was on schedule for our 1pm appointment, so I replied asking if he wanted tea or coffee. We are not a ‘dry house’ and a beverage is always on offer as soon as they knock on the door.
