Spring has Sprung!

The days are getting warmer, the ‘equilux’ arrived on Tuesday, and now I think we’re officially in springtime. Last weekend we went out with the family to one of my favourite springtime places to visit – namely Nowton Park in Bury St. Edmunds, especially when all the thousands of daffodils are out. It’s a lovely place to be:

This also means caravan time! Sam and I will be off to the Isle of Wight on Saturday for a week to blow the cobwebs off the van and clean it up ready for the summer influx of visitors. We’ve been looking forward to this for the past 4 months. Various relatives have asked to visit us when it gets a little warmer, and so while we’re there we’ll be stocking up on BBQ charcoal ready for the first BBQ at the end of May when 5 members from Sam’s family stay nearby in chalets on the site.

This will hopefully be my last blog for a week, unless it rains all the time and we are confined to the van. However, it looks like there’s a few sunny days for jet-washing, and so I’ll see you all again somewhere around the end of March. x
