Building on the successes of past years’ work projects, RMEF returns to the elk-rich Colorado mountains near Weston Pass. This area is popular with elk hunters, and it’s used by anglers and hikers in the summer months. The work being done here is an ongoing effort to rid the area’s vast public lands of abandoned and problematic fencing.
