I try to let go of any regrets as soon as possible. In the moment, I can’t say that I regret anything, including asking this widely-viewed (and wildly-provoking) question on Tuesday:
.
I have no regrets about sharing these images today.
.
I think that letting go of regrets is a no brainer.
.
Here’s what I find when I search for regrets on YouTube:

I can’t completely observe Quiet Day because of my work as a group therapist. However, there is quiet time in my groups, as we start with a mindfulness exercise to take a break from the chaos of life.
While I appreciate the idea of Quiet Day, this is the time for us to stop being quiet and to speak up about what is happening now, as did Jane Fonda at the SAG awards.
.
I can image people who don’t agree with Jane Fonda wishing she’d be quiet, but she won’t.
Let’s use Quiet Day — and any quiet time we can find — to relax and recharge during these times when we need to raise our voices together. Hopefully we shall quiet those loud, toxic voices of chaos, fear, and destruction.
Here are my images for Quiet Day.
These red cards explain what to say and when to be quiet with immigration officers.
.
I suspect we haven’t reached rock bottom yet, but we will if we stay quiet.

People are very nervous these days. The only person I know who isn’t nervous is my husband Michael, who’s been practicing a complete news blackout for months.
Sometimes when I’m nervous, I get mad at the people who are making me nervous. Yesterday, I posted this live performance of my song “I’m Mad About You” on YouTube:
.
Do any of my images for today make you nervous?
.
On my walk yesterday, I came across an event for Ruff Tales Rescue and met the nervous and adorable Little Bit. Michael and I would consider adopting a dog but we know that would make our cat Harley very, very nervous.
I get nervous about being late to work on Mondays — when I work with nervous people in-person at the hospital — so I’m going to wrap up this nervous blog post.
Thanks to all who help me deal with being nervous, including YOU!
As prone as I am to multi-tasking and contemplating many possibilities at once, there are things that get my undivided attention, including
My therapy groups,
Current dangers to USA democracy,
Interesting conversations,
Delicious food,
Great music,
Compelling cats,
Excellent movies,
Puzzles, and
My son Aaron, whose birthday is today!
.
If you’ve been giving undivided attention to this long-running daily blog (which I don’t expect), you would know that I share this classic misheard lyrics creation of Aaron’s on February 23.
.
That video always gets my undivided attention.
Is there anything that gets your undivided attention in my images for today?
.
I wish World Understanding and Peace would get everyone’s undivided attention, but we get so distracted by the lies of nefarious leaders. If their noses grew like Pinocchio’s every time they lied, perhaps more people would give their undivided attention to removing these dangerous liars from power.
If you leave a comment below, I will give it my undivided attention.
Thanks to all who are giving their undivided attention here, now, including YOU!
During the first week of this awful month, I wrote about courage, and it’s time to write about it again.
Here are some quotes about courage:
.
Do you see courage in my other images for today?
.
Sometimes, when people become aware that I’ve had a heart valve replacement (and other heart-related surgeries starting at a young age), they call that courage. I don’t call that courage — I call that surviving. Courage is taking action against something you know is wrong. My friends, we’re going to need a lot of courage in the days ahead.
Here’s what I find when I search for courage on YouTube.
.
What are your thoughts and feelings about courage?
Thanks to all who are here for this courage post, including YOU.
Everyone I know is experiencing Cathexis because of particular people’s unhealthy ideas and actions, to which I object.
Do you see Cathexis in my images for today?
.
Because of this Cathexis, I sometimes distract myself with cats, which I am now calling Cat-thexis.
.
I think that only the objects of my cathexis need to shut the hell up and stop promoting chaos, injustice, and destruction. I think the rest of us need to speak the hell up and act the hell up.
.
Here’s what I find when I search for “cathexis” on YouTube.
.
Thanks to all who are here for this cathexis post, including YOU!
I need to share what the Daily Bitch has to say about needs today.
.
I need to point out that The Daily Bitch is not alone.
What needs do you see in my other images for today?
.
We all need World Day(s) for Social Justice. And while I might yearn for a No Politics Day, I need to pay attention to politics because I’m a therapist who needs to listen to all my patients’ needs and concerns.
Here’s what I find when I search for needs on YouTube:
.
Thanks to all who help me with my needs to create and share this daily blog, including YOU!
Unquestionably, there are increasingly questionable people in power in the USA right now. As a result, there way too many questionable occurrences every day.
In case you have any questions about what questionable means, here’s a definition:
.
Whenever questionable things are happening, I have many questions, like how did this happen? What can we do about it? How will it end?
During the Saturday Night Live 50th Anniversary Show on Sunday, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler took questions from the audience. They asked Cher if she had any questions and she said, “No, I don’t. I’ve got a lot of answers.”
Do you see anything questionable in my images for today?
.
It’s questionable that any of us are going to be able to retire with the questionable Elon Musk and his questionable DOGE bros controlling USA financial databases.
Any questions?
