Nas deformat sau urechi pleoștite? Complexele tale au rezolvare!
De câte ori te-ai uitat în oglindă și ai fost mulțumit de tine? Ne dorim ca răspunsul tău să fie unul pozitiv, dar dacă lucrurile stau altfel, nu ar trebui să fii îngrijorat pentru că soluții de rezolvare sunt foarte multe în ziua de azi.
Ne-am propus să vorbim în acest articol despre două probleme care nasc, de regulă, o serie de complexe începând din copilărie și care pot continua și în adolescență: nasul deformat sau prea mare și urechile prea depărtate de cap sau pleoștite.
Important este că dacă te confrunți cu unul dintre aceste complexe și ai impresia că toți din jurul tău văd la tine doar acest defect și nimic din lucrurile bune ale aspectului tău fizic, e momentul să renunți la această atitudine și să faci o schimbare.

Geez, China
So, I’ve been around the world today! My university is having this diversity thing going on today, and I stopped by nearly each table and asked them to tell me a little about their culture:
Iran, Yemen (damn, that guy was sexy, and charming, and funny), Sudan, Palestine, Somalia, and Nepal were very willing to talk about their culture, and I learned some things. Huzzah!
Unfortunately, the Brazil, India, Saudi-Arabia, Afghanistan, and Pakistan tables were always too crowded for me to get to and ask questions. Though the guy at the India table was able to write my name in Hindi. So there’s that.
And China. Well… When I asked, they sort of laughed, talked to each other in Chinese, and then told me that they couldn’t tell me anything…
I guess there’s always the internet.

Ediţia din acest an reuneşte 145 de ţări expozante şi este pregătit să primească 20 de milioane de vizitatori pe parcursul celor şase luni de desfăşurare. Manifestarea mai este cunoscută şi sub denumirea de World Fair. Prima ediţie a World Expo a avut loc la Londra în anul 1851 – Great Exhibition of the Works of Industry of All Nations, iar ultima ediţie a fost şi cea mai mare – 190 de ţări cu 75 de milioane de vizitatori, la Shanghai. Milano găzduieşte a doua oară în istorie World Expo – prima expoziţie ţinându-se în anul 1906.

Rinus Van de Velde was born in 1983 and now lives&works in Belgium. More than I like his paintings (the B&W is a plus) I love the literature part – the short texts that seem to be something like David Foster Wallace’s footnotes. Things the painting can’t express. I am a big fan of combining two or more arts. The results are almost always remarcable, this case is just an example. Also take a look at Francois-Marie Banier‘s work.

Eurovision 2015 Preview: Romania
This entry has been under my radar since I started listening to all the songs. That is because it is very average, and forgettable. One of the tracks I would probably skip when it comes up on my iPod. It just seems quite bland and lacking any sort of punch or wow factor (very much like this blog post). Unless Romania produce an exceptional live performance, I can’t see this qualifying.
My score: 4.5/10

Tim Timaru: Romanian Poet on SL
After finishing advertising my own gallery at Starz Corner, a nice man dropped by and we started talking. He invited me to visit his own gallery and he turned out to be a romantic poet from Romania.
The gallery has an air of old fashioned Europe to it which I really liked. The poetry and the choice of pictures (either in world or in real life) goes very well with his romantic poetry which screams of love, kindness and home. It’s a pleasure for the eyes.
He gave me a tour and even offered me a few free gifts and I took the time to appreciate the music and sounds of birds while reading some great poetry. I have to point out that I’m usually not a big poetry fan but that I did really appreciate his commitment to the language (and he is Romanian born, not English) and…

2011 RoTrip – part 1
In 2011 I decided that I want to go in a RoTrip, something like a EuroTrip, but in Romania.
For some months I was just looking on the internet what to visit, with what to travel and where should we sleep. I usually take a big vacation during the summer so the plan was to leave from Bucharest at the end of july and come back in the middle of august.
The first stop was in Sighisoara – a town in the middle of which a medieval town exists.
In each summer a medieval festival is kept in the medieval city so it was a good opportunity to take part of it again. I went for the first time in Sighisoara in 2007 and it was really nice, because during the night a lot of people were just celebrating in the middle of the fortress. TUESDAY, APRIL 21, 2015: Playing Tourist from Deva to Nagyszeben
Today did not involve any particular focus on Unitarian history or present, it “just” involved seeing some more beautiful and historic places!
The breakfasts here are usually cold – with slices of ham or sausage or other pieces of meat, slices of cheese, bread and honey or jam. We will often get butter for our bread, but as I understand it, that’s because they are very familiar now with people from the States and they know we like butter, but it’s not what they usually eat with their bread.
From our guest house in Deva we met up with some others of our group who had spent the night in a hotel. I walked to a local grocery store and got some chocolate treats – I heard that one of the treats was the Heidi chocolate bar, so in honor of my wife Heidi, I got some!
