Just 1 Reason

I was just sitting here thinking that my favorite time of day is morning. I wake up at 6 am, and don’t wake the kids up for school until 6:45am. I make my coffee, add a little milk to it, sit at my desk, prop up my feet, put on some music, and just relax in the stillness of my home. With 5 kids, that stillness is as miraculous as the parting of the Red Sea! And as breathtaking!! Sometimes I will pick up a book to read a bit of, sometimes I will just talk to God, or listen; sometimes I will check my e-mail/myspace/blog and visit my friends and have morning coffee with them:) A lot of times I find my friend Anna online and we chat for a bit before our kids start wanting food or clothes or to know who created God or a zillion other things that don’t end until MIDNIGHT! And then I find myself sitting here…looking forward to 6 am and coffee:)

But that morning sunshine, silence, coffee….that just does it for me. What about you? What is your favorite time of day, and why?
