As you may know, millions of adults were taught to hate poetry either in High School or College. Brutal exercises in abstraction, and mindless rhyme schemes for the tone-dead who have experienced tragic and noisy lives without music, without the poetic charm of magic verses brewed carefully with exciting potions. Hype, hype, hooray! Bring on a parade of nuance, sometimes a celebration, and sometimes a funeral march. So I think I will start a new category. I’m not sure how the category hierarchy works. This paragraph may have to be moved, but I’m not sure. I will begin with a section for Cheryl Kurtz.
