Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens is set to come out in a little over a year.

You wanna know what kind of Star Wars fan I am?  My husband and I got married in a movie theater. As we walked down the aisle as husband and wife, we had them play the Main Title music, you know… the Star Wars theme song?

Then, the people at that theater, who knew we were major fans, played the preview for Episode III – Revenge of the Sith and gave us, as a wedding gift, 10 passes to see the film when it came out that May. Reserved balcony seats on opening night!  I was just a tiny bit excited about this…

Indeed. That was not my first starwarsgasm, though… I mean, have you seen the films?  The cinematography by itself is… mind-blowing.

After we wrapped up wedding pictures and made our way to the reception, our DJ played the Imperial March as we came in.

Then, about 40 days later, after we watched the last Star Wars movie with 8 of friends, we sulked while leaving the theater… so sad… No more Star Wars…

I have, in my office right behind me, a Darth Vader head cookie jar, Darth Tater (you know, Mr. Potato head dressed as Darth Vader), two Star Wars coffee mugs, and a little Lego Millenium Falcon.

My son’s first Halloween costume was Yoda. He’s been a clone trooper, as well. And, of course, I make awesome Star Wars cookies…

One year, we are going to work it out so that my husband dresses like Hans Solo and I will dress as Princess Leia (of course, he wants the gold bikini…) for Halloween. Perhaps the kids will be C3PO and R2D2 (seriously, how cute would that be!!!).

The Gold Bikini would definitely be fun later…

My house is littered with Star Wars toys, Legos, posters and… I may have bought my husband almost all of the Star Wars Signature Series Force FX Lightsabers over the years… Don’t even ask me how much money that was. I also may have participated in a lightsaber duel with him… once or twice.

We own every DVD there is to own that has Star Wars anywhere in the title.

You know those little stickers people put on the back of their minivan or SUV to depict the members of their family? Yeah, mine are Star Wars…

Every year, we celebrate May 4th like it is a national holiday… because it is. It’s Star Wars Day!!! “May the Fourth be with you!”

When Disney bought Star Wars, my husband and I jumped up and down… YAY!  More Star Wars!!!!

I’m so excited about the new movie, I may just watch this teaser every single day until they release a full length movie trailer that actually gives some idea of what the movie is really about. (Which, of course, I already know… but the trailer just makes it REAL.)

Yes. I’m a geek. But you watch that teaser above and tell me YOU’RE not excited!!!
