When I fell in love with myself

I don’t know exactly when I fell in love with myself.
It happened slowly… so quietly that even I didn’t notice.

One day, my morning helper said to me,

“Didi, you have changed a lot. Earlier you used to get angry so easily. Nowadays, you do all your work with a smile.”

Uff… what a compliment that was for me!
That’s when I realized—yes, something inside me had truly transformed.

The Turning Point

When my husband went to South Africa, leaving me and our daughter in India, life suddenly felt empty. Loneliness crept in. To overcome that loneliness, I chose movement instead of stagnation.

Here’s what I did.

At that time, I was a professor in an engineering college. I had a lot of free time—and boredom.
So I gave an interview at Cuemath and became a certified Cuemath teacher.

I joined a yoga class in a neighbour’s flat every morning.
I started evening tuition.
Slowly, my days began to feel meaningful again.

Writing, Motherhood & Self-Discovery

During Covid, tuition stopped. Once again, boredom tried to return.
This time, I chose creation.

I opened two websites and started writing—one article per week.
Whenever I felt bored, I wrote.
The rest of my time, I spent with my daughter.

That’s when I truly understood the meaning of self-love.
I began listening to my body.
I began respecting my emotions.

Loving Teaching, But Not the Environment

In the college where I taught, no one’s vibes matched mine.
I loved teaching—but not the environment.

There was no growth:

  • No technical growth
  • No financial growth
  • No emotional satisfaction

I spent more than five years like this—because of personal circumstances and Covid. But during this phase, I discovered something precious:

  • Nature became my best friend.
  • I fell in love with exercise.
  • I started walking alone in the mornings.

I chose to walk my path, and let him walk his.

Becoming Someone New—Again

From 2020 onwards, I changed once more.

With yoga classes and tuition shut down, I started plantation.
I wrote.
I planted.
I talked to my little plants.
I started going alone to temples.

I did a counselling course and became a certified psychological counsellor.
I have started to regulate my own emotions and am helping others in this regard.

My wish was simple—to help heal minds that needed care.

Career Shifts & Growth

In 2022, I switched from teaching to industry for technical growth.
Later, I moved to a better organization—but with heavy work pressure.

Even today, because of work stress, I manage to write only 1–2 articles a year on my websites.
Still, I don’t stop moving forward.

I joined the gym in 2025.
I visited the UK in 2025.
I lost a job in 2025—but I also found a better one in the same year.

For all of this, I am deeply grateful to 2025. 🙏

Life Is Transformation

I believe I will continue moving forward—step by step.
Life is not about staying the same.
Life is about transformation.

And sometimes, the most powerful love story you’ll ever experience…
is the one you build with yourself.

Are You in Search of Love?

Hello readers,
Hope all of you are doing well.

Suddenly, one idea came to my mind — and I felt like sharing it with you all today. In this post, I want to speak about a hidden and bitter truth of life — something many of you might have already realised deep within.

Are you in search of real love?

Let me share my story!

Once upon a time, I too was in search of real love. Suddenly, destiny took me to a dense forest. When I opened my eyes, I was surprised — every tree had a mirror embedded in its stem. Wherever I looked around, I saw myself — but with different shapes, different moods, and different emotions.

Now, you might ask — why did I look different in each mirror?
Good question!

The stems of the trees had different shapes, and the mirrors built on them were also of different forms. So naturally, every reflection of mine looked different.

But how is this connected with real life?

Think of those tree stems as situations. In every situation, you look different. When you are in office, you’re serious, attentive, sometimes under pressure. That time, you forget everything else. When you’re at your sweet home, you feel relaxed. Those emotions — “stress”, “relaxation”, “focus”, “peace” — all reflect on your face. That’s why you appear different in each phase.

Now, coming back to the story — wherever I looked, I was seeing myself.

Suddenly, the universe whispered to me:

“Nobody can love you better than you. You can become your best lover. Search yourself within you. Dig deep to find something valuable that you can give back to society. Only reading books will not help — real growth starts when you begin to realise yourself.”

Hope this story inspires you to look within and love yourself a little more today.

The story idea is completely mine.
Thank you for reading — and have a wonderful weekend! 🌿

Happiness: A Balance of External and Internal Factors

Happiness

Happiness is not something that arrives overnight—it is cultivated through a balance of both external and internal factors. Some influences are visible and tangible, while others lie within our mindset and attitude. When these two aspects align, life feels lighter, brighter, and more meaningful.

External Factors of Happiness

External factors are those that are visible from the outside and often require interaction with others or with the world around us. These include:

  • Relationships
  • Financial independence or self-dependence
  • Health and fitness
  • Eating healthy
  • Good habits and hobbies
  • Good deeds
  • Spending time with nature

Among these, relationships stand out as the most important. A healthy relationship—especially between life partners—can light up every other area of life. When couples nurture their bond through good habits and shared hobbies, they naturally spend quality time together. For example, working out as a team, focusing on health, fitness, and career growth, creates a supportive environment where both partners thrive.

Internal Factors of Happiness

Internal factors are not visible from the outside. They stem purely from within and are fully dependent on us. These include:

  • Positive thoughts
  • Acceptance of situations
  • Thinking well of others
  • Having fewer complaints
  • Responding instead of reacting

Interestingly, when external factors—especially relationships—are healthy, these internal qualities start developing almost effortlessly. For instance, a supportive and understanding partnership helps cultivate positivity, patience, and acceptance.

The Interconnection

External and internal factors of happiness are deeply connected. When we focus on strengthening relationships, adopting good habits, nurturing hobbies, eating wholesome food, and staying away from both junk food and junk thoughts, internal peace follows. The joy that begins externally eventually settles within us, shaping our outlook and behavior.

Conclusion

If there is one place to start building happiness, it is in our relationships. A healthy, loving, and nurturing relationship creates a ripple effect, encouraging good habits, fitness, positivity, and emotional stability. By aligning external actions with internal growth, we can create a life filled with joy and lasting happiness.

Life’s Gear is like Car’s Gear

Image

When you drive a car, how many times do you change the gear position? You change it many times, right? You never drive a car in same speed, because road conditions are changing in every moment.

Our life is like this. God never feels comfortable in driving us in same speed in same direction. Someone is progressing at a high speed whereas someone is feeling that his worst condition is not ending, it becomes static. Life’gear is controlled by Almighty.

Let us enjoy the variation of speed of life.

Thank you for reading. Let us make a beautiful world together. God bless.

Life – A Game

Life is a game of Addition and Subtraction, Life is a game of Multiplication and Division. Game is driven by an Invisible Power, you may call it God, but I call it as “Power of Emptiness”, I call it as “Power of Subconscious Mind”, I call it as “Almighty”.
