Sketches from Europe Trip #1

I arrived home last friday night from my month long trip to Europe. I really had a blast especially in Barcelona. So glad to meet many new faces and also the opportunity to catch up with old friends. We are just like one big family. Happy reunion with many. I am just starting to sort out my photographs and slowly scanning my sketches. It is going to take a while i think so stay tuned. Posting the first two scanned sketches here.

Sketching Georgetown, Penang

Recently about 70 Urbansketchers from Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan and Thailand were invited to a sketching event held inconjuction with Penang's Georgetown festival. It was two full day of sketching at several important UNESCO hertiage sites and sharing our sketches. Below are some of my sketches made during my short stay in Penang. Shophouse at Love Lane. Interesting corner building at Armenian street. Captivated by this little blue house sandwiched between two other shophoues along Armenian street. This is my 2nd last sketch made in Penang.
