Since 2 weeks into SOT

I have come to experience GOD through the ministry of Pastor Derek leading us into the tangible Presence of GOD during praise and worship. It is a wonderful experience... One which I long for and desire to have within my life always... every moment... so that all around me may be blessed. I know who i am... and if you look into my heart... it is not a pretty sight... that is as far as the present is concern, but as i press on towards the high call of GOD, i will become a beautiful vessel of GOD's work... to see HIS Kingdom come and Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.

I came to SOT to know GOD... and realised yesterday that, knowing GOD alone is insufficient. The Bible says, those who KNOW their GOD shall DO mighty exploits.

KNOWing and DOing goes hand in hand, just as faith without works is dead. Faith must have action, bearing results. Just as JESUS said... The world will know we are HIS disciples IF have love for one other. Love without action is infatuation... and a fat lot of good that does for anyone *GRiNZ* Love have to be exercised...

acts of service - physical exercise
word of affirmation - mental exercise
quality time - physical presence, mental discipline
physical touch - physical presence
gift giving - shopping can be a tough physical and mental regimen... especially for the 'perfectionist' gift-giver...

And you cannot exercise love without these expressions.

Hope must also be followed through with action. For if you hope to have good results in SOT, but do not study or pray... how many of you know... your hope will not be realised?

So, knowledge, faith, love, hope... all requires action... And thus... my goal expands... To KNOW GOD, to EXPERIENCE GOD and to have supernatural REVELATION of GOD in my life... And even during SOT, to begin moving in greater faith, and do mighty exploits... defend the field of lentils, slay a lion in the pit on a cold snowy day, take down Goliath, rejoice with great gladness before GOD ALWAYS... and lead the nation into HIS great love! And according to my faith, let it be to me! Hallelujah!

SOT day #1: orientation

i will remember the consternation and the trepidation as i stepped into the massive crowd of 469 SOT students.

I'm in team 6, mostly CK zoners... and am one of the oldest of the lot.

I see lots of potential in the young girls and i believe it will be a wonderful experience... those who knows me, either knows me as crapper rapper... or, as most sisters discovered, i am not a man of many words... unless it is about work... or something that i really feel about.

as the physically challenging day wore on, lines were being drawn... except that no one could see it.

Truly, love covers a multitude of sins... and i pray i get to know the greatest LOVER of all during this SOT... and partake of HIS divine nature... and be a true follower of HIS... And that is not possible unless it is expressed through my lifestyle...

John 13:35
