Cooper's Baby Blessing - January 15th, 2012

On January 15th 2012 we had Cooper's Baby Blessing at our church building. It was a great day and Darcy did a great job with the blessing. Afterwards we all come over to our house for some bbq pork sandwiches.

The Two Men in my Life

I am so blessed to have such a wonderful husband and such a sweet baby boy! This is one of my favorite pictures of both my boys. Cooper even has a little smile. If I remember correctly right after this picture was taken Cooper spit up, well more like threw up in my mouth as I was about to kiss him! Sweet memories...

Christmas with The Perry's

Since it was the Perry's turn for Christmas, and having a newborn we didn't feel like traveling to Canada with, they all decided to come to Vegas. They were all excited to meet Cooper! It was a little different then the usual Perry Christmas, but it was still fun and we got to see both our families during the Holiday's. It was a very special Holiday!

First Few Weeks Home

The first few weeks home we did a lot of sleeping at all hours of the day as Cooper began to adjust to a new routine. We tried the bassinet for the first little bit, then Cooper finally moved into bed with us.

Surprise....We had a baby BOY

I arrived at the hospital to be induced on the evening of my due date (11/21/11). I spent the day with Darcy doing lots of fun stuff like watching a movie, getting my eyelashes done, and Cafe Rio for lunch! At 8pm we headed over to Centennial Hills Hospital, I wasn't nervous at all, which surprised me. They started the induction around 9:00pm with Cervidil and by 7am I was ready for an epidural. I was lucky to not feel any pain during my contractions and after my epidural all I did was sleep. I started to push around 3pm all while sleeping between my contractions. Finally at 5:34pm 11/22/11 Cooper Perry Whipple was born. He was 9lbs 6oz and 21 3/4 inches long. Dr. Swainston was surprised at how big and broad he was, he named him Hans. All of Darcy's family was in the waiting room ready to meet Baby Cooper.

A Little Behind!

I know I am a little behind with all my blogging, but I figure better late then never. I am going to try and catch up the last year and a half as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience!
