Christmas Eve and a smidge of Christmas!

I have alot of catching up to do, and i'm starting with Christmas! Sadly, looking through my pictures I realized, I didn't take very many, especially Christmas day... Too busy I guess! Here are some mostly from Christmas Eve, night!
Every Christmas Eve since I can remember we have gone to a Mexican restaraunt with family friends! We did this when I was little in NM with a huge group and ever since I have lived here we have gone with the same family every year! Both our families have 4 daughters so we have always been really close! It's one of my favorite traditions for the past 16ish years, it's so fun to watch both of our families grow and have the group get bigger and bigger! I can't believe I didn't take ANY pictures of our dinner, I'm usually really good at capturing memories, but I guess too much fun can be distracting:)
After dinner every year we go back to my parents house and do a bunch of little traditions... Open PJ's, Re-inact Luke 2, go on a scavenger hunt to find out that years Family vacation..etc.
I only took pictures of the PJ part.. so Yey for new Pajamas:)

I told Steve to take a picture of us in our Jammies and he pretty much cut out the cute part (pants) haha! Oh well! ImageBefore the PJ's, This is where Dylan decided to play! G-ma shouldn't put such fun decorations on top of the piano:) She assured me she didn't care about the piano as long as he didn't break the decorations ha! He was very gentle!
Image
ImageDylan in his new Pajamas! All balls all the time! (except now it's actually more trucks!)
Image Cute little Ledge-man all jammed up!!
Image ImagePretending to sleep! Dylan didn't actually sleep there..everyone slept in the same room except Dylan and my parents! Another tradition!
Image Lame...only Christmas morning shot I have (the rest is video) Santa set up these tractor sets for Dylan! Tractor's are his new obsession (it was only a matter of time with how often I take him to the dairy) Image Ledger got some fun stuff.. This is the only one I got a picture of! Aunt Cassi sent him this fun Monkey toy! He loves holding it!!
Image After presents and our huge family breakfast (and some naps and fun) we headed to the Ethington's for their Christmas party (which I did not get pictures of..lame) but I did take this while we were there.. Dylan Loves going to their house, their backyard is HUGE.. and they have this fun car:) ...He is smiling.. Atleast he is trying really hard! When he tries to smile it comes out like that:) ha
Image We had an amazing Christmas, I hope everyone else did to!! Hopefully I Get New Years up before to long!!!

Brian Regan!

I'm pretty sure this is the quickest I have done a post after the event has taken place! I still have yet to put up pictures of Dylan's 2nd birthday, but that is cause I don't have any yet! Everyone else in the family does! So I'm skipping it for now:)
My mom and dad gave Steve and I Brian Regan tickets for my Birthday! Then most of my family ended up going as well, along with our friends Devin and Ruthann! It was such a blast! The show was hysterical, and it was fun getting to spend time with our friends and family, and get a little break from parenthood (thanks Amy and Roman!)

ImageImageBefore the show Steve and I went to dinner with the Millers since we weren't sitting anywhere near them in the theater! We love them and getting to go out with them without any of our 4 (soon to be 5) kids is very rare!!:)

Image ImageAfter dinner we got to the theater a little too early (my parents had my tickets so we couldn't get in), So we walked a few scary blocks to a McDonald's for some ice cream and bathrooms! (and unsuccessfully attempting to put Ruthann into labor; later that night of course, but it didn't work!)

ImageSince all the tickets were purchased at different times, us and my parents were sitting together, then my 2 sisters and brother in law were together somewhere else, and my aunt Annie that joined in last minute was all by herself...at the way front and center! (The benefit of being a single!!) Good thing we took this picture before hand cause our faces were BURNING by the end!!! If you haven't ever seen Brian Regan, you need to!!
Image

After the concert we went over to the Compass room on top of the Hyatt for some fancy dessert...and spinning! ImageImageBrie, Annie, dad and mom!ImageAsh and 'Uncle Geek' (as Dylan calls him).. Although with that face, I don't blame him!:) with their desserts!ImageWe shared, seeing as how we had already had an ice cream cone before the show!!

Good times!

Busy November!!!

Aside from the already busy Thanksgiving Holiday festivities, Our November also consisted of a wedding, baby blessing, anniversary, Bro-time, homecoming, family in town, and Dylan's birthday (although technically December)!! It was a great month and I'm sure December will be the same!
For some reason (probably the fact that professional photographers are involved) I don't have any pictures from Amy (Steve's little sister) and Romans wedding! I'm sure I will get some eventually from other camera's! She was the last in Steve's family to get married and it was very exciting! She was gorgeous and we absolutely LOVE Roman! He is a great addition!

The next day we blessed Ledger at church!

Dylan and Cali at the 'after blessing gathering'. It was at Steve's cousins house and they have this big tortoise, I guess Dylan has my love of turtles cause he fallowed him around all over just fascinated! These 2 kids are so cute together!Image

Dylan usually talks to him self anywhere from a few minutes to over an hour before falling asleep, usually he is laying down rolling around (he likes his alone time!) but the other day it got really quite so I checked the monitor and I couldn't see him fully on the screen so I didn't know why he would be so quite if he wasn't laying down! He fell asleep sitting up.. and it's happened again since, poor tired guy!Image

I don't know if it's lame to match your boys, but I happened to have these little onsies from when Dylan was a baby (Ledgers) and my cousin has Quintuplets and she is nice enough to send me a lot of her boys clothes and there happened to be the same exact onsies in Dylan's size so I couldn't resist! I'm not gonna lie, I'm a little obsessed with these guys!! ImageImageDylan teaching his little brother how to play! So sweet...sometimes:) ImageImage

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!! This was before our day of family and festivities (which sadly I didn't actually take pictures at, luckily I just took a few before we left!)

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!! Steve and I celebrated a big 5 years! We don't normally do a whole lot on our anniversary (Thanksgiving time was a GREAT time to get married, lots of family etc...however; makes for busy anniversaries!) Steve and his 'bros' have an annual 'Bro-time' which usually gets in the way, but it's fun! This year Steve made reservations for the Melting Pot and got the fun romance package of roses, framed picture and a card he wrote! It was sweet, and of course Delicious! My sister and brother in law were babysitting and we were gonna be late so they offered to watch them overnight, we spontaneously stayed in town at a hotel (haven't slept away from the kids EVER) it was fun though and I found out that getting a lot of sleep is over rated! I still woke up in the night, and had a migraine the next morning ha! It's been an amazing 5 years!!

ImageImage
HAPPY HOMECOMING!!! My little amazing sister BrieAnne came home from Alaska where she just served a mission! She is So awesome and I'm ECSTATIC that she is finally back! A whole crew of people went to the airport to get her and we all wore 'Team Brie' shirts, held up signs and all that Jazz! Here's our family (Dylan was just a couple months older than Ledger when she left...crazy) and Brie!!!
ImageImage
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DYL-PICKLE PANTS!!!
I can't BELIEVE he is 2:) I'm gonna do his birthday on it's own post because we're having the real celebration tomorrow! We did go to lunch for my Grandma's last day and the cute waitress over heard something about his birthday and brought him out this thing of fried ice cream! We also had some cake later but that was most of the celebrating that day:) LOVE HIM!!!Image

Well I intended to update Park City slowly, but of course I didn't, so now I'm just throwing out a bunch of pictures from our trip (in a totally random order) so I can remember my favorite parts! There is a lot going on in November and if I want any chance of updating the events of the month I need to just be done and move on!!

My mom had her Birthday while we were there! It was fun to get to celebrate it with her family!! the first few pictures are from her birthday dinner at Tempenyaki (pretty sure that's incorrect spelling)! ImageImageImage
One day we were going to go shopping so my dad was going to drive the kids back to my sisters so he could watch them all for us! He is an awesome grandpa...to prove that more, while I was shopping I got this picture sent to my phone...Image
um... 'why is Dylan on a pony?' I had to call and find out where the heck they ended up on their way home! He saw a little horse riding place and takes all the kids... horse back riding, through a petting zoo and a fun haystack maze!! Lucky kids! and lucky grandpa we found out after the fact about the unassisted pony riding:) The next one is from the maze!
Image
Out to lunch!
Image
Image Ledger was in his car seat most of the trip! Good traveling buddy!
ImageAnother birthday celebration for my mom! My dad babysat once again while we went to lunch with my moms sisters (minus 1) and her mom:) It was a fun lunch, and visit with some relatives I rarely see! ImageAfter her lunch we walked across the street and got some carameled apples! SO good! This of Dylan is actually from another time we went back for more... he was very spoiled with new treats this trip!!
ImageCute Ledger! (didn't realize it was a sideways picture!)
Image
At a family party on my dads side, Dylan was spoiled again with an ice cream cone:)
ImageImageImage
Hangin' out at the resort! It was right on the ski slopes, pretty amazing but also pretty desolate being that it wasn't quite ski season!
Image He loved staring and pointing at the maps of all the slopes!
Image
SWIMMING!! Dylan takes after me as far as swimming goes! He LOVES it.. a little too much, he will just bolt and jump right into the water...assuming someone is there to catch him! FREAKS me out, so we had our hands on him the whole time! I can't believe he has no fear of water or going under at all.. yikes!
Image My mom and I got to escape (it was a very long week and very exhausting) so any chance to escape we got we jumped on! (this is when we escaped to get some carameled apples)
Image
So, my dad and sister babysat while we went on a apple run but one of my favorite days was when my dad got Dylan up in the morning and took him over to Parker's soccer game, then took all the grand kids (4 not including Ledger) to Salt Lake for a 'Touch a Truck' event! The kids could go around to tons of different trucks, police cars, fire trucks etc, and learn about them, go inside and all kinds of things! They even got to paint a car! They also provided lunch there... it sounded like an awesome thing! AND it was awesome for me and my mom to have a nice break! We had Ledger but he doesn't require much!
Image
ImageYAY for FREEDOM!! We slept in a little bit, went to lunch, then to their hot tubs (they had like 7 all staggered on little hills with big rock fountains, they were an awesome set up!)
Image
Cute baby boy!! ImageImageImage
On our way home we stopped at my grandmas in Orem! She has 53 grand kids and 78 Great grand kids! HUGE family! She is amazing!Image
Our stop on the way home! I was so glad the boys did so good! We only made 2 stops, this was at the gas station!
Image Grandma showing Dylan what a baked bean is (yuck! She claims it is the treat he choose! I think she just wanted them:)
ImageImage
Like I said..random order! These should have been before the way home stuff! After our morning of freedom, after the touch a truck everyone came back to the resort and we went down the Alpine slide! There was so many fun rides but by the time we got through the slide line they were closed! Dylan LOVED the slide.. the reason for the mad face in this picture is because it was over!!
Imageon the way down! I also took a video (somehow) of him yelling WEEEEEEEEE but it's not on here yet!!! He looks scared in this pic, but was loving it! ImageImage
