Halloween X4

This year Kasen's costume(s) were by far the best! He made the most out of the holiday and dressed up Thursday for his school party, Friday for his friend's party, Saturday for Trunk or Treat AND Sunday for Halloween. It was a great weekend and we enjoyed transforming our guy into a pretty little lady. It was also Macey's first Halloween and she was not too excited about dressing up.Image

5th Grade

Image
He looks more & more like his Dad as the years go by.

Life as we know it

Is changing daily.

Macey will be 6 months in 4 days and is almost ready to crawl! It's hard to believe how fast they grow. She is babbling like crazy so we are just waiting to see what her first word is going to be, Mama or Dada? Probably Dada, she is defiantly a Daddy's girl.

Kasen is back in Moapa Valley, and now we get to see him every week, woohoo! He is attending his last year of Elementary at Bowler and is doing well. We are glad he is so close so we can participate and support him in his school activities. Last month, he signed up for Karate so we are excited to see how much he enjoys it.

Kasey is still unemployed, but we are remaining positive about employment in this down fall in the construction industry (and every where else).

Sadly, my parents and Grandma will be leaving to Hawaii next week for work until the end of April. It is going to be extremely hard to visit with them via Skype especially since Macey is going to be hitting so many milestones in the next few months.

But as of now we are just getting ready for the Holidays to begin!

Recently

We've introduced Macey to SOLIDS and she LOVES them. After a long battle of trying to find the right formula for our little one, being able to feed her solids with NO problems thus far is amazing.

Right now we have her on a feeding schedule which includes: 5- 6oz soy formula bottles every 3 hours, 2 snacks of rice cereal 1-2tbs each, and 2 snacks of veggies 1tbs each. She also takes at least 3 naps daily in her crib. We are getting ready to transition her into her own room by 6 months old.

It is amazing how fast they grow. She is rolling over like crazy and is even attempting to crawl. She is a mover and a shaker and does not like to sit still, even while feeding. She has a strong grip and loves touching everything! She discovered her feet and loves to put them in her mouth. We also got her ears pierced!

Kasen is getting tall, almost taller than me and doing well in school as always. He got a new bird and has also made a scorpion habitat. He is definitely an animal lover like his Dad.
