More stuff in progress. Check out The Cunning Land here.
Not that the holiday is as important as it used to be, mind you. Making bad decisions will do that. A good decision, though? They’re showing the original version of Star Wars next year, as part of the fiftieth anniversary of the movie. Guess that means that George Lucas really doesn’t have anything to do with Star Wars anymore.

PS: Oh, I’m absolutely waiting to make sure that this movie is truly the original. You can’t be too careful.
The minor bad guy we were fighting in my Sunday D&D game just played a dirty trick on us: he surrendered. Admittedly, we had just wiped the rest of his party and shrugged off every attempt he made to cast a spirit of vengeance upon us, and maybe I was asking the survivors if they had ever been given the Good News about Tyr. Still… it’s a low trick, that. Low!

PS: Lawful Good half-elf Paladin of Tyr with the Noble background (good-guy noble, at that) and Oath of Devotion. So I’m kind of hosed, here. And, honestly, it’s how I want to play the character anyway.
…and it’s been years since I had to worry about something like this.
:shudder: Yeah, that’s a time bomb that’s already gone off. Or, somehow even worse, it’s going off right now.

Looks like ROME TO THE STARS is going to seriously jump ahead in the story from TO TURN THE TIDE and THE WINDS OF FATE. Which is interesting. I figured that they could have gotten at least one more novel out of dealing with the fallout from the last book. Then again, maybe Steve Stirling’s writing that one himself.
Anyway, out in October.
