Sunday, July 17, 2005 Hello friends, I have taken the liberty during this weekend to create a new public website for ODAC in replacement for the present website. However, it is only seventy-five percent completed given just one day. In this, I hope to integrate our blog with the website, in order to keep the website itself visited frequently by both the public, as well as the members. From there, we can view the announcements, pictures and we can also "tag" the site for fun. It would be ready tentatively by this Friday. I hope with all your support, the website won't be stagnant like how our predecessors left it to be. Thank you. Syahril XXX

So please pass Nicole around 2 CD-Rs or CD-RWs (All data must be cleared beforehand). I have a lot of other Odac pictures. (Rivervale, First Aid, birthdays, Bukit Timah Trainings, AGM). Hey, as most of you all would know, tomorrow we would be voting for our mates and yeah, we would know what post we would be holding on to. Anyway, whether me make it to the exco board is another question. More importantly, I really hope that IF some of us do not get the post we wanted, please don't be disheartened and shun away from ODAC(I don't think we need another departure) cause' we are always ONE BIG FAMILY ok! =) So yup, we would be bading farewell to the j2s and lets really cross our fingers that nothing unwanted crops up tomorrow after all the cynical planning we had. Haha... Ps: Cake and water fight anyone?.. To the J2s perhaps.. hehee..

Hullo there ODACians, Syahril hollering AGAIN here. Well, I'm calling up for the designs, as per normal. A NEW ODAC CREST/LOGO Some of us have distaste for the present ODAC crest; therefore, reveal your creativity in a NEW logo for ODAC. Details: Draw in full detail (not sketch, please) of your crest on an A4 size paper. Maximise the space of the paper by drawing as large as humanly possible. Also, provide a brief write up of your interpretation of the new logo. A NEW ODAC T-SHIRT Most of us should realise that the 18th ODAC T-shirt is made of ultimate-ventilation material (in the same line as Nikes Dri-Fit and adidas Climacool) and is grey (coughs) in colour. Now however, we are still undecided for the image(s) on the T-shirt. Whilst some of you have already handed in your ideas, others are still generating theirs without having them on paper. Heres your final chance to regurgitate your interesting proposal. Details: Draw in full detail (not sketch, please) of your design on an A4 size paper. Maximise the space of the paper by drawing as large as humanly possible. Also, provide details of designs that go on the sleeve, collar or at the back. Our 18th identity: We came together as a group of 23 fun-loving, daring individuals with different personalities to form the 18th batch of SRJC ODACians. SRJCODAC is where we overcame conflicts and differences, forged strong lasting friendships, trained and endured physical and mental challenges, shared joy and gloom, experienced new adventures, learnt new skills, cared for the community, and made the world a better place for you and us. We made the choice to ‘dare to be different’, and this is where we found a sense of belonging, where our other-home in SRJC is.
