The day came to bring Layla into the world. This day was October 22nd 2012 at 7:00pm and we were getting induced.  Brandon and I said a good long prayer before leaving the house. The hospital was nice and quiet other than the debate in some peoples rooms. I was started on pitocin then shortly after my water was broken.  I tell you those contractions came fast and srtong......hurt like a Bitch if I may say so. I had the good drugs then only pushed about 10 times.  Brandon was with me during all this Fun time.  He has never experienced anything like this and nor had I.  "What an amazing opprotunity for me to be involved" is what he said.  Although he did need a chair to sit on during the pushing.....so funny and not suprising, I mean I'm pushing a baby through a small space Hello. 

  The funny man Dr. Burgett who I should mention is buddy buddy with Brandon came in at 5:30 am October 23rd.  He put on a gown and gloves then opened some gloves for Big Brandon.  I pushed one time and Brandon grabbed cute little Layla and pulled her into the world at 5:45am.  Wow soak that in.......The tears fled yay for a happy healthy baby girl 7lbs 1oz 18in and as pretty as could be.

  What a small price to pay, being pregnant to enjoy the miracle of life for the rest of ours!  We could not be more happy for such a wonderful family.
