Caroline is 10!

 I can't believe our baby turned double digits June 10th!  She woke up and opened her first gift!  Abby got her something she needed for her pineapple themed swim party.

 She had four friends over for swimming, a pinata, . . .

  . . . the ice cream truck,  . . .

  . . . and an hour long water balloon war.  It made her day to be back with her closest friends!

 That night we ate out for the first time since March.  We had pizza on the Pailio's patio.  We couldn't believe our assigned number was 10!

 She had fun opening presents!

Caroline loves arts and crafts and creates things with clay and paints on a daily basis.  She was ecstatic to get this art cart for her supplies.

She's been wishing for a guitar for awhile and will start lessons soon!

A couple of days later, we celebrated with our Anderson side of the family.

 The water balloons did not last an hour with this crew!  They went for it and the battle was short!

 Avery was her number one helper with present opening.

We were so relieved covid -19 calmed down for a few weeks so we could enjoy Caroline's birthday with family and friends.  It was nice to relax and be together to celebrate 10 years with Sweet Caroline!

Matagorda Road Trip

 A couple of weekends ago, we hit the road for Matagorda.  We had rentals from last year that we didn't get to use when a flesh eating bacteria struck the coast.  We all decided to follow through with the trip this time as everyone needed a get away and Covid numbers were almost nonexistent in that county.

 Nonnie and Pops got a beach house with an ocean view.

 Abby and Caroline always love to get shave ice and shop when we are down there.

 Caroline celebrated her birthday with Momo and . . .

  . . . we celebrated Momo's birthday!

 Momo taught Caroline how to make her banana pudding.

Abby loved playing horseshoes.

 The beach is always such a nice break for everyone. The ocean always seems to put things into perspective.
