New Year Resolution

Wednesday, January 5, 2011

Mommy: (Driving the car to a breakfast meeting.) I'm sorry baby. I forgot the DS. We were in such a hurry this morning and I left it on the counter.

Ethan: You have to be on slow speed. When you go fast speed, that's the problem. You forget stuff. You have to pay attention. Silly, silly mama. You have to be slow like me.

Oh, what a 3 year old picks up on! This year I hope to operate on "slow speed" more often and take more time to enjoy life, family, friends and me time. John and Ethan are already "slow speed" pros and it hasn't rubbed off yet, but I think it's time!

Nothing describes Christmas more than photos of the happiness shared on the holiday!

I Heart My Family

We had the chance to briefly catch up with Jason and his girlfriend, Mai, last month while visiting John's family in Palm Springs. Ethan just loves spending time with them, even if only over dinner one night. And nothing makes me laugh and smile more than starting to call his Aunt Margaret, Miss Margaret. Barry is his all-time favorite cousin and he really enjoyed his time with Uncle Patrick, too!
