Driven by a multidisciplinary team, the company contributes directly to the innovative and sustainable development of projects centered on helium and natural hydrogen.
At the beginning, two co-founders
The company was co-founded and is led by Nicolas Pélissier and Benoît Hauville, both from the energy sector.

A Geosciences team at the heart of exploration
The Geosciences department represents a significant portion of the workforce. Its role is to identify and assess helium and natural hydrogen resources. Its missions include:
- analyzing data to identify areas with high potential,
- developing exploration work,
- preparing and supervising license applications,
- project managemently on field work, data acquisition, and drilling campaigns.

An innovative Operations, Production & Recycling team
This team brings together all the skills required to implement our operations: extraction, production, and valorization of helium and natural hydrogen.
It operates both in the field, in our production facilities located in Europe, and at the headquater, where it provides technical, organizational, and industrial expertise.
As part of its technological development, 45-8 ENERGY has developped an industrial solution for helium recycling—a first in Europe. This activity extends the lifespan of such a strategic gas, while reducing the carbon footprint associated with its use.
