Although the cats give their approval mama wasn't happy assembling this thing. I just don't like it and didn't do a couple of pieced right and had to redo them but those were my mistakes. Once I was finished the cats were so happy I quickly forgot about assembly. All of them use this daily and they want to be the first to get in to get the spot. While one is sitting in the bottom, others jump on top to scratch. It won't last that long with all of my cats but they do love it.

    It's rare to have a cat furniture item in the house that looks nice, so I am glad to have this. It is solid and holds my hefty male cat. I watched the assembly video on the product page and it was easy to put together.

    Assembled in about 20 minutes - less time if you use a power drill. One of the scratch pads came indented from the framing, but no big whoop. Cats took to it immediately. Older cat likes sitting on top, younger one likes sitting in it, both have started to scratch on it. So, so far so good. Still some what wrestling with price point, but in reality, as previous reviewers noted it is designed as a more permanent furniture fixture in the home versus a disposable item. Need only work out where to find replacement scratch pads when the time comes. But at the end of the day very satisifed.

    The Catli scratcher lounge was a hit with my kitties (Peach and Cherry) right out of the box. It is easy to assemble, sturdy, well engineered and it is cute! All hardware and tools needed for assembly are included. My kitties love this scratcher and use as a play space, scratcher, lounge and launch point for their zoomies. So glad we added this to our cat friendly furniture collection.

    When I was assembling it, we had to guess how it went together.

    NO INSTRUCTIONS!!

    And when we did get it assembled it was way to small for cats.

    Pictures are so misleading for the product.

    I like the fact that the cardboard can be replaced when worn out. However being a new product the price it's being offered now should have been offered in the beginning. I paid $10.00 more!
