Kiss my bum

So I realize that I've been posting a lot about my kids lately and I generally get annoyed when people do this on their blogs but this one I had to share.

#1 got spanked by Dad for biting #2 the other day and I was not at home at the time.

When I got home this is how my conversation with her went:
#1 - Dad spanked my bum
Me - so I heard
#1 - will you kiss it better?
Me - No I don't want to kiss your bum
#1 - Yes you do...

Needless to say I did not do it.

Random

Just some random occurances lately:

-We still haven't decided on a name for #3. Upon asking #1 what we should name her, the response was either Pink or Killer. What is your vote?

-We went to the grocery store yesterday. As A went to go get some milk he was stopped by a cute little old lady. She grabbed his arm and told him how cute the baby boy he had with him was and then proceeded to ask him if it was his son or grandson...HAHAHAHAHA!!!! Apparently he has a little more gray hairs then he thought.

-As I was sitting in the doctors office yesterday I got to thinking, who in this world just thought one day, I think it would be pretty to cover my nails and lips with nice colors like red and pink. Random thought, I know.

The Response

So the three year old daughter wanted some chocolate milk last night. This is how the conversation went:
A: Dad I want some chocolate milk.
Dad: OK go get your sippy cup.
A: You get it.
Dad: I'm busy, go get it.
A: No, you're not busy, I'm busy, you do it....

Christmas Traditions

What are your Christmas Traditions?

We pretty much do all the regular things but I want to try and branch out in the years to come.
Some of the things we do or have done are:
Christmas lights at temple square
Pinata on Christmas Eve
Pajamas on Christmas Eve
Festival of Trees
Have Santa come to a family christmas party
Drive around to houses/communities that put up big Christmas light displays
Go to the light luminary at the Winder Dairy graveyard
Have sticky buns/pull aparts Christmas morning.

I'm thinking this year we will do gingerbread houses but do them as stables instead so we will have gingerbread stables.

I am also making the husband take me to A Christmas Carol play this year so that is something different.

I knew a family that had an orange peel fight on christmas eve. I always thought that sounded fun but feel dumb stealing it.

Is there anything else fun out there?!

Another

So as most of the people who view this blog know (since there is only like 4 of you) we are having another chitlin in March. We found out on Monday that it is most likely a girl (the cord was in the way but they were pretty sure). I was kind of hoping for another boy so that it would be closer to kid #2 which is a boy, but no big deal really. There are advantages & disadvantages to both I guess....I'm really not looking forward to teenage years...
Today #1 taught #2 to say 'mine' which he automatically picked up on.
My morning was spent listening to a shouting match between a 3 & 1 year old saying 'MINE!'.
It was a rough morning needless to say.

I guess I wouldn't be a very good mom if I didn't post the traditional kids dressed up in their Halloween costumes would I?
