Her sweet little dress was a $20 steal from Burlington Coat factory, and her sweater was from the Children's Place. I sewed on sleeves for the actual day since it was now July (and the pictures were taken in March). I loved her headband, purchased from Icing I think.
Friends and family came to celebrate with us, and we felt so loved that so many people were willing to participate in and come to her big day.
She had her favorite primary teacher Sister Hayes, and her favorite missionary Elder Gurney give talks, and she asked our home teacher to say a closing prayer. Her uncle and grandpa were witnesses, and her dad baptized and confirmed her (she was very worried she was going to have to be dunked more than once, and thought that would be pretty embarrassing but it all went just fine!). And she received lots of treats and fun things from her primary leaders, family and friends.

We also had backyard bubbles, ball toss, hula hoops, volleyball, and fishing set up for the kids to occupy themselves with while the adults visited. (and I was busy talking and only got two of them in action. The rest are from after the party!)
We are so proud of our sweet girl for promising to follow Christ, to do what He would do, and to always try to choose the right. It was such a fun day!
