EMPLOYMENT
My role is to provide consulting advice and develop software for clients using front-end and back-end technologies including React, React Native and Django.
I also organise the weekly company training sessions.
In a team of 4, got the opportunity to join ocean exploration research. We received the data collected by the Mayflower, the first fully-autonomous ship to gather information about oceans. Our goal was to create a tool that teaches people about ocean research and introduces them to data science. In 13 weeks, we have learnt and used the newest technologies including “omni-channel", Node-RED, MQTT, GraphQL, and React.
We were asked to present our work at the organised for us conference at the University of Plymouth. Based on the feedback, the prime use of our tool will be to educate school children and aid the work of Oceanographers working on the Mayflower project.
I got selected from around 500 Undergraduate and Postgraduate students to help first year students during lab classes in Java Programming, Foundations of Computer Sciencem Introduction to Programming and Problem Solving, and Introduction to Algorithms and Data Structures.
In July I joined this voluntary organisation to teach people with no experience in programming how to code in Python.
I prepared Beginner Python Course and delivered it to 280 students, and managed a team of 30 Mentors.
I have been involved in optimizing existing code by rewriting it in the Vue.js framework along with TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap. We used version control systems (Bitbucket with Git) and automatic testing (inc. Bitbucket Pipeline and Lint).
I was a member of school volunteering society called 'Helpsterzy'.
I was teaching many students (some of them were older than me) mathematics, physics, computer science and economics.
