boredpost2: Microsoft Surface RT (PT1)

Image
Oooh... Interesting... In the age where owning two types of devices is a necessity, I can't help but just cry... But why? I introduce you this nugget: the Chuwi HeroBook Air! With a budget-but-sufficient Intel Celeron n4020, 4GBs of RAM and prebuilt 128GB ssd! (It was running Windows 10 but I later installed EndeavourOS because Windows sucks) "Your KDE Plasma theme looks like an amalgamation" ...I know. ...It broke. Or more specifically I broke it. One of the main reasons why I shouldn't even trust myself with most tech, but somehow my main driver phone is still alive???  That aside, i already forgot that misery I bought upon myself. I could've used it for many, many more useful... with an actual purpose, but I gotta be careful next time... IT JUST HAD THE MOST SHITTIEST BUILD QUALITY! Enough with the disappointment nugget... aaaand enter the new one....which is more of a headache!!! ... the... Surface... RT.... I actually don't have this nugget yet physically...

boredpost1: more people should use adblockers

Can you even survive without one nowadays? Google's pushing on trying to disable adblockers from being operational... Spotify REMOVED the weekly plan that's cheap as dirt... what's next? Well, worst case this happened is how you can't use YouTube without whitelisting it on your adblocker. The irony! Corpo greed? Mostly, that's how the way I'm thinking about it. Again, i feel like it's unfair to have companies restrict you on using their services. Don't subscribe to our plans? Have less features lol! It's a terrible business model. Though I think Apple sheeps wouldn't mind a thing or two. Like hey, they can afford iPhones! So it's natural to expect they can pay for subscriptions on Apple services. I feel pity for people shaming on Android due to how bad it is... little do they know we have more freedom over them... My current setup consists of my main phone using NextDNS, browsers in both my main and burner phone using NextDNS and an adblocker...

It's me... on Blogger!? What!

Since doing blogs by making an HTML page was waaaaay beyond inefficient, i decided to look into more traditional methods... and I found Blogger! Though part of why I'm looking into blogging is just to make stuff easier for me, typing random stuff, interesting... uninteresting... or whatnot... but hey it works! Love it when things are kept simple. Threads, Facebook and Bluesky are waaay to cluttered and is not catered to what I wanna use it on. I'll still occasionally post there tho.
