The Acre protocol charges a 0.45% fee on all withdrawals. These cover all bridging and network / gas fees. There is also a 20% protocol fee on rewards earned.
acre BTC is a non-rebasing ERC4626 deposit token on EthL1, which represents bitcoin deposited into Acre. The ERC4626 standard is atokenized vault standard, which is designed for the efficient management ofvaults and rewards.
acreBTCis a non-rebasing token, which means that the balance of acreBTC does NOT increase in a user's wallet as rewards accrue. Instead, the amount of bitcointhat acreBTC can be redeemed for increases. acreBTC is designed to be a deposit token exclusively (redeemed for BTC rewards), rather than as a liquid staking /restaking token (invested in DeFi).
