December 3rd Christmas Activity - last of 2008!!

THIS EVENT IS OUR LAST ACTIVITY NIGHT FOR THE 2008 YEAR!!!

November 19th Activity

This was our activity November 19th. I was not able to attend so I did not get pictures... the only pictures are from the card they put together.

This is our GRATITUDE card... we wrote a letter to someone we thought might need our GRATITUDE and APPRECIATION!! Sister Scott gave us a lesson on Gratitude and then we broke into groups and presented some short skits on Being Grateful and Ungrateful.

FEAR FACTOR WITH DAD!!!!

Tonight Sister Vicki Scott gave us a lesson on "Being Clean" with our language and thoughts. She did a great visual example with clean water that was tainted with food coloring, this represented the mistakes we might make. The volunteer then added bleach to the colored/dirty water, this represented repentance, after a few minutes the water became clean/clear again!!

We then packaged some "BE CLEAN" soap...

WE ALSO RECEIVED OUR NEW ACTIVITY NIGHT BOOKLET!!! THIS WILL HELP EACH GIRL KEEP TRACK OF THE VALUE THEY HAVE PASSED OFF, KEEP TRACK OF THEIR GOALS (SOMETHING WE WILL REVISIT EVERY OTHER MONTH) AND AT THE END OF THE YEAR IT WILL BE A CUTE MEMORY KEEPER OF EACH ACTIVITY!!! THERE IS ONE BOOK PER GIRL... SO PLEASE HELP THEM KEEP IT IN A SAFE PLACE!!!
