ACS – Command-line note

IBM i Access Client Solutions (ACS) is deployed as a portable application rather than through traditional Windows installation, allowing you to extract the .zip file to any location (local drive, network share, or removable media) and launch it directly using platform-specific scripts in the Windows_Application folder. For enterprise deployment at scale, use the admin config tool via command prompt with Windows_Applicationinstall_acs_64.js /AdminConfig for configuration customization or Windows_Applicationinstall_acs_64.js /Q for silent deployment, and configure the AcsConfig.properties file to point to a centralized IBM i system for update management across your organization.
