CARET is a software application for the structural and functional analysis of the cerebral and cerebellar cortex, developed by the Van Essen Laboratory at Washington University School of Medicine. It supports analysis of group anatomical differences, display of activation foci, and generation of flat, inflated, and spherical surfaces. It is free and open-source.
