CloudShow

For managed CloudShow updates, close CloudShow before the installer starts. Both the machine-wide and per-user Windows packages can return 1 when the app is open during update, so configure deployment tooling to close or prompt for CloudShow before retrying.

Use the official CloudShow site as the package source and verify the installed version after the process is closed. That avoids leaving signage/player endpoints on stale binaries because the application was still running.

CloudShow updates can return Exit Code 1 if CloudShow is open during the update. Close CloudShow before managed upgrades so the installer can replace the running digital-signage application files. Source: official CloudShow source.
