Deployment tip
When deploying Codex CLI to Windows developer workstations, install it system-wide with npm i -g @openai/codex under an account that has access to your enterprise Node.js installation path, then centrally configure authentication by setting OPENAI_API_KEY as a machine-level environment variable via Group Policy Preferences so all users on the device can run codex without per-user setup.
