Copilot CLI portable deployment note

For managed deployments of GitHub Copilot CLI, treat GitHub.Copilot as a portable ZIP package rather than a traditional MSI or EXE install: the archive contains copilot.exe, exposes the copilot command, and has a PowerShell 7+ dependency. Target the correct ZIP architecture (copilot-win32-x64.zip or copilot-win32-arm64.zip) from the GitHub Copilot CLI releases and detect deployment by the managed copilot.exe path/version instead of looking for a Programs and Features uninstall entry.

GitHub Copilot is a subscription-based AI coding assistant integrated into IDEs like VS Code and JetBrains, not a standalone downloadable application with traditional installers.[1][3]
