Dell Optimizer deployment note
The Dell.Optimizer WinGet manifest uses Dell’s machine-scope EXE installer, supports silent install with /s, supports logging with /l="", and maps installer return code 2 to reboot-required. Current Dell Optimizer 6.3.3.0 manifests include separate x64/ARM64 Dell download URLs, so deployment detection should use the Dell Optimizer product code/version rather than the unrelated EvolveOS.Optimizer portable package.
Dell Optimizer is also dependency-sensitive: install the Microsoft Visual C++ v14 Redistributable x64 and Microsoft .NET Desktop Runtime 8 x64 before deploying or updating Dell Optimizer. In Intune or ConfigMgr, model those runtimes as prerequisites/dependencies with their own detection rules so Dell Optimizer fails fast instead of timing out or leaving an incomplete install when the runtime stack is missing.
