Discord managed install and auto-update behavior note
Discord can close immediately after installation in some managed deployments. Because the Windows client updates itself frequently, a practical deployment pattern is to publish Discord as available, verify first launch, and let the client self-update rather than repeatedly forcing reinstall attempts during the same maintenance window.
