DOSBox-X is a free, open-source, cross-platform DOS emulator that supports running DOS applications and games, including legacy Windows 3.x and 9x systems. It emulates a complete PC environment with keyboard, mouse, joystick, sound, graphics, modem, printer, network, and storage devices. DOSBox-X also supports legacy systems such as the Japanese NEC PC-98 and offers additional features like keyboard remapping and save/load states.
