Draftable Desktop close-before-update note
For managed Draftable Desktop updates on Windows, close Draftable before invoking the MSI update. The MSI package can return Exit Code 1 when Draftable is open during the update process, so use a close/notify step or pre-update process handling before retrying.
Draftable provides the desktop installer from its official download page. Keep detection tied to the installed Draftable Desktop application/version and validate the app launches after update, especially on shared legal or document-review workstations where users may leave comparisons open.
