dupeguru close-before-update note

For managed dupeguru updates, close the running application before launching the installer. Returns Exit Code 0, but the binaries are not updated. Configure a pre-close/user-deferral or conflicting-process rule for dupeguru rather than repeatedly retrying the update while the app is open.

Use the official dupeguru source/download page when refreshing the package: official dupeguru source.

For managed dupeGuru updates, close dupeGuru before launching setup. If dupeGuru is still running, setup can return success but leave the binaries unchanged; close the application first, then verify the installed version.
