DYMO Connect update and uninstall cleanup note
For managed DYMO Connect updates, close DYMO Connect before launching the Windows installer. The EXE x64 and x86 update paths can return Exit Code 1618 when the application is open during the update process, so software-center, Intune, ConfigMgr, or RMM deployments should include conflicting-process handling instead of relying on the installer to replace files in use.
On uninstall, validate whether the separate DYMO WebService component remains installed. Environments that need a complete removal should inventory DYMO-related Add/Remove Programs entries after uninstall and remove the WebService component separately when it is no longer required by label workflows.

For managed DYMO Connect deployments, install the matching Microsoft .NET Desktop Runtime 8 package before running the DYMO Connect installer. Track the runtime as its own prerequisite so label-printer deployments on clean Windows machines have the framework available before setup starts.
