etcd – Command-line note
For automated Windows deployment of etcd from the official prebuilt binaries, unpack the downloaded etcd-vX.Y.Z-windows-amd64.zip to a standard location (for example C:Program Filesetcd) and add that path to PATH system-wide, then configure cluster parameters via a JSON/YAML config file instead of long command lines, referencing it at service start with etcd --config-file="C:Program Filesetcdetcd.conf.yml".
