examnbrowser close-before-update note
For managed examN Browser updates, close examN Browser before starting the installer. If the exam browser is left open, the update can return exit code 1; use pre-close or user-notification handling before retrying required deployments. Official source: examnbrowser official download/product page.
For managed examN Browser deployments, pre-stage the Microsoft Visual C++ v14 Redistributable x64 runtime before installing or updating the browser. Keep that runtime in deployment detection so lab or assessment machines without the current VC++ runtime do not fail during setup.
