FreeBASIC is a free and open source multiplatform compiler and programming language based on BASIC, providing syntax compatibility with Microsoft QuickBASIC. It supports Windows, DOS, Linux, FreeBSD, and Xbox (no longer maintained). It includes built-in graphics support via FBgfx with OpenGL and DirectX backends.
