Global Secure Access Client

Microsoft Global Secure Access (GSA) is an integrated, identity-driven solution built on Zero Trust principles to secure remote access to applications, file shares, and resources. It unifies Microsoft Entra Internet Access and Microsoft Entra Private Access to provide secure, adaptive access to SaaS apps, private apps, and Microsoft services, replacing traditional VPNs with a modern Security Service Edge (SSE) approach.

Global Secure Access Client .NET runtime prerequisite note

Before deploying the Global Secure Access Client for Windows, make sure the Microsoft .NET Desktop Runtime 8 x64 prerequisite is present or included in the deployment sequence. Treat the client installer and runtime as separate detection items so a missing runtime is not mistaken for an application install failure.
