Grist Desktop is a self-contained desktop application for Linux, macOS, and Windows that allows users to view and edit spreadsheets stored locally. It combines spreadsheet flexibility with database features, supports full Python formulas including standard libraries, and includes an AI assistant for formula generation. Data is stored in a portable SQLite format enabling easy backups and migration.
