LibreWolf close-before-update note

For managed LibreWolf updates on Windows, close LibreWolf before applying the EXE x64 update. If the browser is still running, the update can fail with Exit Code 1; use a conflicting-process rule, user deferral, or pre-close step rather than treating the package as a purely background-safe browser update.

Use LibreWolf’s official Windows installation page for the current Windows download/source context: https://librewolf.net/installation/windows/.

Official source: LibreWolf Windows installation.

For managed LibreWolf Windows updates, close LibreWolf before setup starts. The EXE x64 package can return Exit Code 1 when the browser is open during update; add a browser-specific pre-close or user-deferral step and confirm the installed version afterward.
