Macro Recorder silent install, portable mode, and close-before-update note
For managed Macro Recorder updates, close all running Macro Recorder instances before starting the EXE update. Internal package testing has shown updates can hang unless every Macro Recorder instance is closed, so deployment tools should prompt, close, or defer the update instead of letting the installer run while the recorder/player is open.
The official Windows installer supports Inno Setup silent switches: /SILENT, /VERYSILENT, and /SUPPRESSMSGBOXES. Macro Recorder also has a portable mode; for portable deployments, launch MacroRecorder.exe from the portable location and use -portable when you need to force portable mode.
