Maxon App close-before-update note
For managed Maxon App updates, close the application before starting the installer. This package has been observed to return Exit Code 1 when the update may fail if Maxon App is running; configure deployment tools to prompt, skip, or close the conflicting process before retrying the update.

For managed Maxon App installs, stage Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime and the x64 Microsoft Visual C++ v14 Redistributable before the installer. Keep those runtimes as separate prerequisites so update failures can be distinguished from the close-before-update process conflict.
