Netpas Message Visual C++ prerequisite note
For managed Netpas Message deployments, stage the current Microsoft Visual C++ v14 Redistributable before installing or updating the client. Treat the runtime as an explicit prerequisite in Intune, ConfigMgr, RMM, or PSADT content rather than assuming another application has already installed it. Close Netpas Message before managed updates. The update can return exit code 1 when the application is open, so pre-closing the client helps avoid a failed upgrade. Source: official NetpasMessage source.
